The world’s best-selling grading instrument

The Fat-O-Meat'er II™ is a handheld instrument for control of the lean meat content on pig carcasses by measuring back fat thickness and loin muscle depth in predefined locations on the carcass. The Fat-O-Meat'er II™ is a very robust and reliable system with a very high resolution.

The precision is 0.03 mm, the design is highly hygienic according to standard EN1672-2 and the system can work on high line speeds.

The Fat-O-Meat'er II™ system is available in three versions: high speed, low speed and basic version.
