The chill room at Danish Crown Blans is today monitored by S2 SCADA

Frontmatec solves many different tasks for their customers. Danish Crown in Blans was faced with a challenge with harmonic voltage distortion (THvD) that could destroy their controls and ultimately create downtime in their production. At the same time, the challenge was to use the company's 800 KVA transformer together with a 560 kW cooling compressor.

Thanks to our knowledge of both control and electrical installations, Danish Crown ended up with a solution based on a new 560 kW ULHD drive, which today ensures that the harmonic voltage distortion is minimized as best as possible.

The chill room is today monitored by S2 SCADA, while the refrigeration compressor ensures that Danish Crown still has refrigeration in their chill rooms. We have also supplied the company with a frequency inverter, electrical installation and control.
