Operators manually operate the slide rail conveyor system in which the carcasses, hanging in a slide hook / gambrel or roller hooks on the greased slide rail pipe, can be pushed or pulled. Slide rails are also suitable in the clean area for re-inspection and in manually operated chill rooms and dispatch.
Manual or automatic switch junctions allow for transport between the main transport conveyor and the slide rails.
The Frontmatec lightweight conveyor system is designed for transport of empty hooks/gambrel from the dehooking.
