Vertical Spray Scalding

The vertical spray scalding ensures an optimal combination of traditional hot water scalding and spray scalding. The advantages of the vertical spray scalding are:

Optimal combination: Spray scalding systems and hot water scalding of pigs

The vertical spray scalding ensures an optimal combination of traditional hot water scalding and spray scalding. The system is modular and built to adapt to the desired capacity. The head and front legs of the pig are submerged in hot scalding water, while the rest of the carcass is continuously sprayed with hot water through the scalding system.


Various heating methods are possible. It is the ideal system for low to medium capacity scalding.
